Emerald Solar Soaker is a free in App feature, which connects to your Emerald All-In-One Hot Water Heat Pump to your Solar system to harness excess solar power and heat your hot water for free.
To use Solar Soaker you will need:

- Emerald Electricity Advisor (View list of compatible Smart Meters)
- Emerald LiveLink
- Emerald App
- Solar panels
Acting as a gateway that securely sends signals from your smartphone straight to your hot water heat pump and solar panels via the Emerald App, activating your hot water heat pump whenever surplus solar energy is available.
This means you can enjoy hot water while reducing reliance on the grid, helping you save on energy costs and make the most of your solar investment. Solar Soaker runs seamlessly in the background, using renewable energy to keep your home efficient and sustainable.

Is Solar Soaker compatible with all solar panels?
All solar panels are compatible with Emerald Solar Soaker. However, to set up Solar Soaker you will need to invest in other Emerald products including Emerald Electricity Advisor. Only certain Smart Meters are compatible with Emerald Electricity Advisor. (View list of compatible Smart Meters here).
