Emerald Air Conditioning Systems are engineered for durability. Designed in Australia, our engineers follow stringent testing protocols to ensure quality across our air conditioning range.

The life expectancy of an Emerald air conditioning system is 10 to 20 years, depending on usage and maintenance. With regular servicing, your unit can continue to perform efficiently, providing reliable heating and cooling for years to come

Direct sunlight, rainfall and salt spray can make Emerald outdoor systems deteriorate faster as they are exposed to the elements. Over time, that can cause the life expectancy to reduce.

Speak to your installer about the best environment for your air conditioning. For outdoor installations, we recommend working with your installer to reduce exposure to outdoor elements, a safe spot behind or under protective cover.

Emerald is proudly Australian. Founded, owned and operated from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, we are committed to innovating solutions and creating technology that costs you and the planet less.  Read more about Emerald here.

Our headquarters are located in Sydney, Frenchs Forest, where our team of over thirty product specialists and engineers design, sell and market our products.

Emerald collaborates with the Australian government and partners with specialists internationally to ensure our solutions are made to the highest quality standards at an affordable price point. Our solutions are engineered to cost you and the planet less.

Both Emerald ducted and split system air conditioners are engineered for efficiency, but they differ in design, installation, and how they distribute air.

Emerald Ducted System is a centralised solution that uses ductwork to distribute air throughout multiple rooms, making it ideal for whole-home comfort and larger spaces. The ducted system offers a discreet installation with vents in the ceiling or floor, maintaining a clean and minimalist appearance. With Emerald App integration, you can easily control temperature settings across your home for optimised comfort.

Emerald Split System Air Conditioning, is designed for individual rooms or open plan areas. It includes an indoor unit mounted in the room and an outdoor unit, providing focused cooling and heating for specific spaces without the need for ductwork. This setup is often more flexible for homes with limited space or for areas needing targeted temperature control. The split system can also be connected to the Emerald App, via AC Link, offering convenient control directly from your smartphone.

Both options are energy efficient, but the choice depends on your space requirements, installation preferences, and desired control over temperature distribution.

Emerald partners with certified installers to ensure that our products are installed safely and efficiently. While we provide the technology, the installers are independent professionals who handle the installation process. They also offer guidance on product eligibility for government incentives and help ensure you get the most out of your Emerald products.

Only certified professionals are authorised to install Emerald air conditioning and claim the rebates, to ensure compliance with rebate programs and quality standards. We always recommend doing your research to select a trusted installer who meets all certification requirements, ensuring your installation is both efficient and eligible for available incentives.

As the manufacturer, Emerald engineers high quality air conditioning, but the cost of installation is finalised with your installer. The installer will be able to give you an accurate estimate based on your location, what system you’re replacing (or if it’s a new install), and the available government rebate incentives to help lower the cost. Note that only accredited installers are able to apply for government rebate incentives.

Since installation costs vary with factors like system size, location and labour, prices can range, on top of eligibility for government rebate incentive programs, we recommend speaking directly to your installer for a cost on install as there are many elements that could impact the cost.
