Like for like gas replacement
Emerald’s air conditioning ducted systems can be a like for like replacement to a gas ducted system. Currently available in VRF 20kW, with more sizes coming 2025 (ducted also available in RAC 16kW). The VRF split-type indoor unit can be separated into smaller parts, simplifying installation in confined roof spaces.

VRF technology
Equipped with advanced Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology, providing precise temperature control by continuously adjusting refrigerant flow, creating a tailored, comfortable environment. This efficient process enhances performance and helps reduce energy costs.
Premium DC technology
Featuring dual DC technology incorporating an advanced DC axial flow fan for 33% stronger air flow and reduced noise levels. Combined with a DC inverter compressor, engineered to optimise power consumption while boosting compressor performance, resulting in a highly efficient system.
Silver Ion Filter
This filter effectively prevents mould build up and boasts 99.99% efficacy in preventing E.coli and 97.14% in preventing S.aureus (staph).
Premium Hi-Gold Fin
Designed for durability, the Hi-Gold Fin is 1.5 times thicker than traditional acrylic coatings. Its superior anti-corrosion properties provide three times the protection against acids, alkalis, and salt-fog exposure, ensuring a longer lifespan compared to standard air conditioning systems.
8 inch heat exchanger
The outdoor unit’s heat exchanger features an 8-inch diameter, which is larger than the standard 7-inch models. This larger heat exchange area reduces pressure loss and significantly increases both heating capacity and COP (Coefficient of Performance).
-20c to 50c
Engineered to cool and heat reliably in extreme Australian temperatures, from -20°C to 50°C, providing consistent comfort. A strategically designed air guidance system ensures even air distribution, while the multi-row heat exchanger boosts heating performance and efficiency by reducing pressure loss.
Modulating compressor
Precise, demand-driven control with a modulating compressor that adjusts capacity from 20% – 100%. Benefits include, reduced compressor cycling, improved part-load efficiency, better humidity control at lighter loads.
Eco mode
Minimise power consumption with Eco Mode to reduce power usage and save up to 30% more energy than a standard inverter AC.
Quiet mode
Allows the unit to operate as low as 25dBA, significantly reducing the system’s sound output without compromising power output or effectiveness.

You will gain this training as part of your onboarding to Emerald either through documentation or video training.
