Who do I contact if I have an issue with my heat pump?
If you happen to encounter any issues with your system, we recommend you contact your original installation team first. Your installer is the best source to attend your property and view any problems in person.
Emerald is happy to coordinate with your installation and service team to diagnose the problem and find a solution as fast as possible. Rest assured Emerald's warranty policy covers service costs for system failures caused by manufacturer's faults. Your satisfaction is our priority!
How much hot water is left in my tank?
The water tank should always have water inside it. The system will always remain full; however, as you use more of the hot water supply, it will begin to fill with cold water.
You will continue to be able to use hot water until your tank reaches roughly 27 degrees Celsius. At this point, the water temperature from your taps will start to decrease as the tank will be mostly filled with cold water.
How does the outside temperature affect my heat pump?
The technology used in Emerald systems allows them to extract heat from the surrounding air. Operating in temperatures as low as -7°C.
In warmer climates, the heat pump operates more efficiently. In cooler climates, the heat pump needs to work harder to extract heat from the air. The systems are designed with advanced technology to optimise performance and energy efficiency even in challenging weather conditions.
It's important to note that the performance of the Emerald hot water Heat heat pumps may vary depending on factors such as the specific climate, the location of the system, and the demand for hot water. It's always a good idea to consult a professional to determine the most suitable hot water system for your specific needs and environment.
What temperature can my heat pump operate in?
The Emerald All In One Heat Pump can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -7°C to +40°C. The system is not dependent on the sun and no solar panels are required.
